Is the Cambridge Flyers speaking test scary for children?
Examiners are trained to put children at ease, and the test feels like a short friendly chat. Practising personal questions at home (name, age, favourite sport, best friend) removes most nerves.
How is the Flyers speaking test scored?
The examiner marks understanding, vocabulary, pronunciation and interaction. Speaking earns its own 1–5 shields on the certificate, like the other two papers.
Can speaking be practised online for the Flyers exam?
Games can't replace a live examiner, but they build the words and sentence patterns children need. Pair them with short conversations at home.
