Six. Your child reads a conversation between two people — often a child and an adult. At six points one speaker's reply is missing, and your child chooses it from three printed options: A, B or C. Nothing is written in this part, so spelling and handwriting play no role.
At Movers each missing reply offers just three choices: A, B or C. At Flyers the format jumps to choosing from a list of eight options (A–H) for the whole dialogue, with no option repeated. Mastering the Movers version builds exactly the conversational reading Flyers later demands.
Everyday child-friendly situations: talking about school, weekend plans, food, sport, a trip to the zoo. The missing replies test functions like answering questions, responding to suggestions and reacting to news — so the best preparation is simply having short, natural English exchanges about your child's own day.
